Synergeyes®

Reach your visual potential!

What is a Synergeyes® Lens?
These are contact lenses that mix a rigid Gas Permeable with Soft Lens technology. Getting the comfort of a soft lens, and having better vision as rigid gas permeable lenses provide, is how Synergeyes® lenses work.

Can I wear SynergEyes® lenses if I have astigmatism?
Yes. SynergEyes lenses are not affected by lens rotation, typical of soft toric astigmatism lenses that cause inconsistent vision. SynergEyes lens optics give stable, clear vision – blink after blink, even at night.

Can they be designed for bifocal wearers? How about if I had eye surgery?
Bifocal Synergeyes designs are available to treat a wide range of vision orders. Many people who had LASIK, RK or other Corneal surgeries, like transplants, have been successfully fitted in these lenses..

I wear rigid Gas Permeable hard type lenses. Will SynergEyes lenses work for me?
These were intially designed for people who need Gas Permeable rigid/ hard lenses, but had issues with wearability. SynergEyes significantly reduces problems of irritating debris that can collect under typical lenses. Also, you can enjoy an active lifestyle, without worrying about your lenses popping out unexpectedly..

How often should I replace my lenses?
It is advised that you replace these lenses at least every six months, or more frequently as prescribed. You will receive 2 lenses per eye upon dispensing. The reason for replacing your contact lenses frequently is to prevent build up of protein and other deposits that cause unwanted discomfort, dryness and less precise vision. Preventing issues from arising is the key to any successful lens wear..

Do I need to see a particular doctor to be fit with these lenses?
Yes, Synergeyes requires special training, testing, and certification before a doctor becomes authorized to order and fit these lenses. Dr. Steve Kurtin, Plano, Texas, is one of the first in Texas authorized to fit and design Bifocal, Post-RK, LASIK, Keratoconus and Astigmatism type Synergeyes lenses.
